Q1. 每天開始工作時，你第一件會做的事情是什麼？

What is the first thing you do when you begin your workday?

A1. 每天清晨四點就要起床，先到花市挑選、整理花材。透過雙手整理花材的過程，腦中會開始慢慢構思設計，讓自己一步一步進入工作的狀態，也是讓自己慢慢沉澱、甦醒的時間。

I wake up at four every morning and head to the flower market to select and prepare the flowers. As I work with the flowers in my hands, ideas and designs gradually begin to take shape in my mind. It’s a process that allows me to slowly settle into my work, while also giving me time to awaken and find my focus.

Q2. 如果只能用一種植物或花朵，形容一天工作的開始，你會選什麼？為什麼？

If you could choose one plant or flower to represent the beginning of your workday, what would it be, and why?

A2.我會選向日葵，因為它總是帶著一種充滿活力的感覺，很像一天工作的開始。

I would choose a sunflower. It always carries such a sense of energy and vitality, which feels very much like the beginning of a new day.

Q3.有時候，靈感沒有準時出現。你如何與「等待」相處？

What do you do when inspiration takes its time?

A3.我會先去看書、上網搜尋資料，從室內設計、平面設計或色彩中找一些新的刺激。

I usually start by reading or searching for references online. I look to areas such as interior design, graphic design, and color for new ideas and inspiration.


15:21👉 意外之中的靈感 Beyond the Expected

Q4. 最近一次真正打動你的，是什麼風景或畫面？

What was the last thing you saw that truly moved you?

A4.因為平常也有教學工作，需要帶學生學習設計思維，思考如何把靈感轉化成花藝，所以我一直提醒自己要保持觀察。除了觀察花朵本身的姿態，也會從它的細節延伸想像。

例如繡球花的花脈，可能讓我聯想到馬賽克或拜占庭藝術。對我來說，教學的過程也像是在不斷給自己新的考題，從學生的提問與創作中，重新思考自己的設計。

Since I also teach, I often guide students through design thinking and explore how inspiration can be translated into floral art. So I always remind myself to stay observant. I pay attention not only to the forms and gestures of flowers, but also to the details within them and where those details might lead my imagination.

For example, the veins of a hydrangea might remind me of mosaics or Byzantine art. For me, teaching is also a way of constantly setting new challenges for myself. Through my students’ questions and creative processes, I find myself reconsidering and rethinking my own designs.


Q5.你曾經因為一個失敗，反而找到新的創作方向嗎？

Have you ever had to change the direction of a design because of an unexpected situation?

A5. 有一次替飯店做花藝設計時，他們有一種對飯店來說非常具代表性、也很有意義的花，飯店希望可以將它呈現在設計裡。但當時發現，這種花在國內外都沒有相對應的花藝素材，也沒有廠商在製作這類素材，就在快要逼近放棄的臨界點，最後靈機一動想到用水晶花的方式代替，親手一朵朵把它製作出來。最後反而因此創造出一個專屬於飯店、獨一無二的設計。

Once, while creating a floral design for a hotel, they wanted to incorporate a flower that was highly symbolic and meaningful to the hotel.However, this particular floral material was simply not available anywhere, either locally or internationally, and there were no suppliers producing it. Just as I was reaching the point of almost giving up, I suddenly thought of using “Dip Art American Flower” as an alternative. I decided to make each flower by hand, one by one.

In the end, this unexpected idea led to a design that was created exclusively for the hotel — a truly unique piece! Sometimes, limitations can lead your creativity in an entirely new direction.


Q6. 交付作品的那一刻，你通常是什麼心情？

How do you feel when you finally deliver your work?

A6.會期待客人的反應，希望這份作品能帶給他們感動，也會在意最後呈現的樣子是否符合客人的期待。 

I always look forward to seeing the client’s reaction. I hope the piece can move them, and I also care about whether the final result meets their expectations.


20:31👉 順逆一如Embracing Bloom & Fade

Q7. 花是短暫的，你怎麼看待”時間”這兩個字？

Flowers are fleeting. What does “time” mean to you?

A7.某一天教室裡有位小朋友來當小小花藝師，他寫下和花有關的文字，讓我很感動，內容是：「花不只在盛開的時候帶給人美好，在乾燥花的形態也美麗，在認識花的過程裡，會看見花而盛開再慢慢凋謝、時間慢慢流逝」，我覺得這個過程本身也是很美好的。

One day, a child came to my studio to be a little florist for the day. They wrote something about flowers that really moved me:

“Flowers don’t only bring us beauty when they are in bloom. They are also beautiful as dried flowers. When we get to know flowers, we witness them bloom, slowly fade, and eventually see time passing.”I think there is something beautiful in that process itself.

Q8：花會凋謝，但你仍然選擇每天與花一起工作。你覺得「短暫」帶給創作什麼意義？

Flowers eventually fade, yet you still choose to work with them every day. What does this fleeting nature bring to your creative work?

A8.因為花會凋謝，所以更讓我們懂得珍惜它盛開的時候。對我來說就是「接受」兩字，珍惜當下。花盛開的時候，就好好享受它，不留下遺憾；不管結果是好是壞，都欣然接受。

Because flowers eventually fade, they remind us to cherish them while they are in bloom. For me, it comes down to one word: acceptance. To cherish the present moment, to fully appreciate a flower while it is in bloom, and to leave no regrets. Whatever the outcome, whether good or not, I choose to accept it wholeheartedly

Q9.請用一句話代表自己的生活態度。

If you could describe yourself in one sentence, what would it be?

A9.我會說：「順逆一如。」無論遇到的是好事或不如意的事，我都希望自己可以用感恩的心去面對! 順境當然值得感恩，但逆境也一樣。有時候當下覺得不好的事情，回頭看才會發現，它可能帶來另一種學習、改變，甚至讓自己走出不同的方向。

I would say, “Embrace both ease and adversity.” Whatever comes my way, whether it is something good or something difficult, I hope to face it with a grateful heart. Of course, we are grateful when things go smoothly, but I believe difficult times deserve gratitude too.

Sometimes, what feels like a bad thing in the moment may, in hindsight, bring us a different kind of learning or change, and even lead us in an entirely new direction.

Q10. 請想像自己三年後會是什麼樣子？請用一種植物來形容。

Imagine yourself three years from now. If you could describe yourself as a plant, what would you be?

A10.我想我會是「香豌豆」。它有一種清香、甜甜的氣息，我希望三年後的自己，越來越好，並且依然保有對花藝的熱情。

I think I would be a sweet pea. It has a delicate, sweet fragrance, and I hope that three years from now, I will have grown into a better version of myself while still holding on to the same passion for floral art.

Q11.你最喜歡這三個哪一個味道？

Which of the three scents do you like the most?

A11.我最喜歡第二款Feldstudie-田野調查，它的花香是一種很溫和的味道，初次聞到這種味道，很驚喜！工作的時候會想使用它。 

My favorite is the second one, Feldstudie — Inspiration Walk. Its floral scent is very gentle and subtle. I was pleasantly surprised when I first smelled it, and it’s a scent I would love to use while working.

Q12. 如果只能留下一句話給正在生活的人，你會說什麼？

If you could leave just one message,what would you say?

A12. 這系列蠟燭帶給我的感覺，就像是提醒大家把握當下，忙碌的工作中，不要忘了把時間留給自己，別忘了當我們專注在一件事情上時，很容易忽略身邊許多細小的美好。所以更要學會放慢一點，珍惜眼前所擁有的一切。

This candle series reminds me to cherish the present moment. Even when we are busy with work, we shouldn’t forget to make time for ourselves. When we become deeply focused on one thing, it’s easy to overlook the little things around us. So, remember to slow down, and cherish the small, beautiful moments in everyday life.
